Reidsville Bank Welcomes Two Community Leaders to the Board of Directors

REIDSVILLE, N.C. - (January 6, 2010) Bill Griffith, the market president of Reidsville Community Bank, a division of First Carolina State Bank, is pleased to announce that Matthew Smith, a partner in the Rockingham County law firm of Maddrey Etringer Smith and Hollowell, and Gregory Hopkins, the pastor of Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Reidsville, have joined the bank’s board of directors.

An attorney since 1998, Smith’s practice focuses in the areas of real estate, corporations, banking collections, estates, foreclosures and civil litigation. His law firm handles all types of legal matters for the citizens of Rockingham County. He earned a bachelor’s degree and his law degree at Campbell University.

Hopkins was born and raised in Reidsville and has been a pastor for 21 years. He is the president of the Ministerial Alliance of Reidsville and Vicinity and the owner of Vision Adolescence Care. He is a graduate of Winston-Salem State University.
